Remember-be patient with yourself, your limitations and what you can actually do versus what you think you can do in your head.
This should be set as a daily reminder to all of us. We fight each and every day and yet we're never kind enough or gentle enough with ourselves.
I'm still feeling great, pain free mainly etc. but my stamina is still building back up after 2+ years of being housebound.
I was reminded today of a trip I took almost 4 years ago to Marrakech where I pushed through like no ones business even though I was flooding and the embarrassing thing happened of flooding through my clothes in public.
But you know what? I did get through it! I've had a superhero of a Woman in my corner for the entire journey and even though she herself is chronically ill she fights every battle alongside me.
I'm not felling overly energetic today but I did have a stenth removed 4 days ago and a major abdominal surgery 6 weeks ago that required a blood transition so yeah I'll read and write and most importantly I'll be gentle with myself today!
